How Many Chairs will Fit?
A common question asked by our customers is how many people will fit in our hall or dining area? There is no exact answer to this question as there are many other questions that need to be answered to help guide you to a close approximation.
- How comfortable to you want your guests to be?
- How many walkways do you need?
- For dinners, will there be table centres, shared platters or a full setting?
- Is it a buffet function?
- Is it table service and how many courses?
- For theatre seating is there a stage and audio equipment?
- For parties will there be dancing and how much dance floor is required?
There are many things to considered when allowing space for chairs and tables, and our staff are ready to help guide you through this process and provide computer drawings to help you.If the event requires rows of seating such as a theatre, each person requires 50cm x 80cm for the chair and leg room.
If it is a dinner and the guest is seating at rectangle tables we use 600m width at a table as a good guide.
